An urban project is underway in the middle of Linz’s up-and-coming area surrounding Main Station. Three structures combine working and living space at the highest level.
Centrally located between Main Station, Wissensturm and Volksgarten in the immediate vicinity of Landstraße - Linz’s main shopping street - the area is within walking distance from the new music theatre, which means that all those interested in culture live right next to it.
The unique view from the BLICK.punkt (residential tower) and the generous, modern green space in front of the three PLUS.punkt apartment buildings stand for living space at its best; with the centrally located STAND.punkt (office block) new office space is emerging.
The individual structures are connected to each other by FREI.punkt, a generous public park; exclusive materials and design elements and a well thought-out structure of the whole park create an urban appearance.

Architecture - Concept of the Estate Grounds

The project includes 3 PLUS.punkt apartment buildings facing Weingartshofstraße and the existing adjacent perimeter block; in the south-east, parallel to the building of district authorities, an office block is located next to which the 19-storey residential tower rises above in the south-west.
A completely new concept of the estate grounds runs through the individual structures and keeps them together. In a way, the precise elaboration of this urban centre functions as a „tray“ on which the individual structures communicate with each other.
With its distinctive design of the structures, the architecture aims at a high degree of diversification but it also preserves the uniform appearance of the whole, which, amongst other things, is made possible by the concept of the estate grounds.
In terms of floor plans the Punkthaus apartments are mainly aimed at families whereas the residential tower boasts some highly generous 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Wrap-around balconies offer individual outdoor space, give the façade its structure and serve as protection from the sunshine at the same time.
Small businesses, services enterprises and gastronomy businesses with outdoor seating areas are located in the ground floor zones.
All buildings are directly connected with the 2-level underground car park lying beneath. Apart from underfloor heating and a controlled living space ventilation system, the apartments are also equipped with a cooling system (underfloor cooling system).
